We're still recovering from a crazy Queen's Birthday weekend. The extra day off meant we saw our cafes get super busy with all your gorgeous faces!
It was a big weekend especially for our dessert cabinets, with many people looking to battle the winter cold with one of our delicious & fresh hot desserts! And i'm ecstatic to announce that our sticky date pudding, Hey Pud Lookin', has received rave reviews... so get in and try one!
Coming Out Of The Chiller
With Christchurch Pride just around the corner, it would be a crime if we didn't do something delicious for it!
So we've put a New Zealand delicacy into gelato form! Introducing: Coming Out of The Chiller - a lolly cake gelato!
Yes that's right, the malty, fruity, lolly-stuffed delicacy is now a gelato flavour! We've made a creamy, malt flavoured gelato, layered it with chopped fruity puff lollies, and sprinkles of shredded coconut for ultra authenticity!
Doggie Style
Now just a gelato flavour isn't enough to celebrate the awesome event that is Pride!
So late last week, we were very excited to announce 'Doggie Style - A Rollickin Pride Walk'.
We're back with one of our signature dog walks, but this time with a pride twist!
With loads of prizes and freebies up for grabs, we're also challenging all our doggo owners to bring their furry friend adorned in the best pride get up that they can! As there will be an amazing prize for the best dressed doggo!
What's awesome is that our Dog Walk falls at the start of Matariki also! So for the dog walk, our route will be following the light displays of Tīrama Mai, the Christchurch City Council's Matariki event!
